Wendron Thank The Football Stadia Improvement Fund
The FSIF have awarded Wendron FC a £17035 grant. The award will enable us to widen and lengthen our main pitch and further improve the facilities for the benefit of all users.

Paul Thorogood, Chief Executive of the Football Foundation, said:
“A vibrant community team is vital for the future of football. The Football Stadia Improvement Fund’s aim is to revolutionise funding for the grass roots in the same way the professional game has been transformed over the last ten years. I pay a particular tribute to the hard work and dedication of all at the club for making this funding a reality.”

Wendron FC Celebrate Funding Success
£ 650,000 has been awarded to the Club by the Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity. This cash bonanza will allow us to develop our new changing facilities, including four unisex changing rooms, four mini changing rooms and two changing rooms for officials.
Wendron Achieves Goal Of Safer Football
Following a successful funding bid, the Football Foundation have awarded Wendron FC a £695 grant to replace its football goals with new, safer ones. This funding award will allow us to replace football goals at our Underlane ground. The new goals will encourage further football development and that the users will appreciate having the new improved equipment.

Paul Thorogood, Chief Executive of the Football Foundation, said:
“We are delighted to be able to award Wendron FC with this cash boost and look forward to working with more clubs, local authorities and schools in the area."
